Sand Rammers & Tampers

This collection contains pneumatic sand rammers and tampers designed for industrial and trade use. Models include compact 6-inch butt industrial tampers and heavier industrial sand rammers/tampers with robust aluminium or steel bodies, long-stroke pistons and replaceable tamping feet. Equipment is suited to compacting sand, gravel, asphalt and backfill in confined areas, trenches and around foundations in workshop, automotive and construction environments.

Select units based on tamping pad diameter, stroke length, impact rate, tool weight and compressor capacity; heavier units deliver deeper compaction while compact models improve access in tight spaces. For safe operation use correct flange or boot attachments, maintain lubrication and inspect valving and hoses before use, and wear hearing, eye and hand protection. Check manufacturer data for air pressure and flow requirements and service intervals.
